I am trained in Patristics, the study of the ancient Fathers of the Church. The Fathers were Christianity’s first theologians (after the authors of the New Testament, of course).

My previous work focused on classical Christology and early Christian interpretation of the Bible. Currently I am studying the relevance of ancient Christianity to the emerging field of Eco-Theology.
